For physical custody or jail operations, contact Comal County Jail at 3000 IH 35 South, New Braunfels, TX 78130, or call 830-620-3450. Posted hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For a booking, bond, release entry, or requested booking photograph, use the Criminal/Jail Records Division at the same address, call 830-620-3412, or fax 830-608-0147. Its posted hours are also 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the county provides an online request form.
Different questions belong to different systems. Use the route that matches the person’s actual custody or supervision status.

- For local probation, contact the Caldwell, Comal and Hays CSCD at 160 E Bridge Street, New Braunfels, or 830-221-1160. For state parole, use Parole / Probation and the Seguin District Parole Office at 11010 FM 725, Seguin, 830-303-4906.

- For a projected date or notification, use Inmate Release Date and the VINELink Release Check.
- For the county facility, use the Comal County Jail page. A transfer out of that jail is not always a release to the community.
